Apprenticeships typically last 3 to 6 years. Most of their training is done while working for an employer who helps the apprentices learn their trade or profession, in exchange for their continued labor for an agreed period after they have achieved measurable competencies. Apprenticeship also enables practitioners to gain a license to practice in a regulated profession. ApprenticeshipsĪn apprenticeship is a system of training a new generation of practitioners of a trade or profession with on-the-job training and often some accompanying study (classroom work and reading). This keeps the apprentice on the job ensuring that the workplace stays productive, avoiding lost time and expense, as with the old school block release system. Our assessors regularly visit your work site throughout the year to monitor and assess learning and skills development for the apprentices and trainees. With a modern approach to theoretical learning we utilise an integrated online training system that allows ubiquitous access for students to learn via their favorite device. Regional Trade Assessments provide nationally recogonised qualifications in the creative trades: Training and Assessment, RPL and Apprenticeship.
